We've been together since 2000. Our first concert (was) at home (at an) opening of a new theater in north Ireland. The director wanted to put on something different. I put the group together. ... The reaction from the audience was so good, we ended up securing a tour of Ireland and then, weeks after that, we secured a tour in the States.

(They were) some people I worked with and I was friendly with. The performances (are) all about enjoyment.... We have gotten on extremely well from day one. We've had different personnel (because of) different circumstances (but) the camaraderie that we have on a personal level is very important.

For me it happened by default rather than design, but music has always been something that has driven me from a very early age. ... I've had an immediate love for and a passion for (music). You never really see it as a job, a career-making or money-making exercise.

Newberry's like a second home. Newberry is a really special place. We've been taken in by the community there really as a part of their own. I think this is our third or fourth trip. We made so many great friends by going to Newberry.
