FRIDAY: Jay Wiscamper and Tom Whittler flew up from Lubbock in a Bellanca Viking on business. Larry Sanders and friends from San Marcos flew up in a Beechcraft Bonanza for pheasant hunting. Dr. Sergio Muniz flew his Bellanca Turbo Viking down from Amarillo for minor maintenance. A customer flew returned from Mexico and a fishing trip in his Aerostar 601. Frank Davenport, a student, flew in from Amarillo in a Cessna 152 on a solo cross country flight. Kevin Robbins demonstrated the Cessna 175 in the area.
MONDAY: Cody Williams flew to Woodward, Okla., in a Bellanca Viking to pick up Donnie Cather and continued his checkout, returning by Amarillo. Ronnie and Leona Robbins flew to Abilene in the Cessna l75 to visit with Traci, returning later in the night. Donnie and Cody flew to Possum Kingdom in the Bellanca Viking.
TUESDAY: Cody and Donnie flew to Roswell and Ruidoso in the Bellanca Viking for additional cross country training. Rod Billingsley flew over from Las Vegas, N.M., in his Bellanca Viking for minor maintenance. Mark Katnour and Darwin Berry flew two Angel Flite patients in from Phoenix in their Beechcraft A-36 Bonanza and Jerry Miller flew them on to Fort Worth in his Cessna 182 Skylane.
WEDNESDAY: Cody Williams and Donnie Cather flew to Muenster, Bowie, Gainesville, Lake Texhoma and Wichita Falls in the Bellanca Viking for additional training. Later in the day they also flew to Tulia, Dimmitt Friona and Clovis for some cross-wind training.
THURSDAY: Cody and Donnie flew Tim Hardage to Georgetown and Lago Vista in the Bellanca Viking to pick up a Grumman Tiger and Tim returned to Plainview. Charlie Falkenmeyer flew his Bellanca Viking in from Denton to drop off for an annual inspection. Marlin Miller took him to Lubbock for his airline connection back home to Atlanta. Charlie is a new pilot hire with Air-Trans Airlines. Mike Graham flew Wade Overton and Don Hampton in from Seymour to pick up Ronnie Robbins´ Cessna 175 that Wade purchased. After local checkout, Wade flew Don to Abilene before returning to Seymour. Donnie Cather departed for Woodward in his Bellanca Viking. Joe Mechelay of Pampa flew Angel Flight passengers in from Fort Worth in his Cessna 206 Stationair. They were picked up by Mark Katnour in his Beechcraft A-36 and flown back home to Arizona.
FRIDAY: Mike Hutcherson flew a trip for Lubbock Aero, taking CHR Solutions officials to Guymon, Okla., and returned to Lubbock later in the day in their Beech 58 Baron. Gordon Morris of the Lubbock FAA FSDO flew our Beech 58 Baron in from Lubbock, flew our Cessna 172 Skyhawk locally and then flew a customer´s Beech A-36 Bonanza to Lubbock after annual inspection in our shop.
SATURDAY: Roger Linn flew in from Las Vegas, Nev., for fuel and flew on to Dallas in his Beech Bonanza. Mike flew in from Dallas in our Beech 58 Baron. Barry Miller and party departed for San Antonio in Barry´s Cessna 560 Citation V jet after a successful pheasant hunt. Bill Nance flew to Lubbock and picked up I.G. Holmes of Holmes Photography and flew out to take aerial shots in the Lubbock area in our Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
MONDAY: Mr. and Mrs. Steven Sansom flew in from Gilmer to attend a funeral in Floydada and departed later in the day in their Piper Lance. Bill Hardage flew Wayland´s Beech 58 Baron to Midland and back on business. Lee Aviation flew in from Roswell, N.M., on business and flew back to Roswell later on, flying their Beech V-35B Bonanza. Mike test-flew a Beech Bonanza for the shop.
TUESDAY: Mike test-flew a Beech Bonanza for the shop. Pilgrim´s Pride Corp. flew Bo Pilgrim in from Mt. Pleasant to speak at Wayland Baptist University´s McClung Center to the Rotary, Lions and Optimist clubs and then flew back to Mt. Pleasant in the company Beech Hawker 800XP jet. Charlie Spence flew in from Midland to leave his Beech Bonanza for maintenance.
WEDNESDAY: Bill Hardage flew his Ercoupe to Lubbock for a transponder check and meetings at the Lubbock campus of WBU, and flew back later to Plainview.
