In the Fairbanks community today, the family members of those deployed with the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team and with other units are in our thoughts. As these words are being read today, the thousands of men and women of the 172nd are making the best of things over in the vicinity of Mosul, where the war in Iraq and the matters of security take no holiday--for now.
